On-line orders; iMetals Group (ABN: 13 603 995 866) have taken great care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. Before you place an order you should read the following; Acceptance of your order, Delivery Information and Returns Policy. These pages form part of these terms and conditions and contain important information about your order.
By submitting an order to us through our website, you present and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct and, that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be taken in full prior to dispatch. If the billing details for your order are the same as your delivery addresss details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing details.
Acceptance of your order; Shortly after you have placed an order with us via our on-line shopping cart, an e-mail will be sent to you acknowledging the exact details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from iMetals Group.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and iMetals Group will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below.
Non-acceptance of an order by iMetals Group may result of one of the followings;
- The product you ordered being out of stock - See availability of goods
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- The identification of a pricing or product description error.
Internet orders will be confirmed by e-mail. Should you not receive confirmation within 10 working days, please contact us at [email protected]
Pricing Information; All prices for products shown on the website are shown below the product description. All orders are billed in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and converted to either: USD, EUR, GBP or AUD, and prices exclude the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% where applicable. If you are shopping other than in Australia, your credit card provider will convert the total value of your order (including postage) to your cards accounts currency. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.
How do I pay for my order? You can pay for you on-line orders using Visa & Mastercard via PayPal. Please note iMetals Group does not accept cash or cheque's as payment on-line. We do not store your credit card details on our site, all financial transactions are handled by our Internet Merchant Providers; National Australia Bank (NAB) and PayPal.
Can I cancel my order? If you order on-line you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of goods. Where goods are delivered to a third party you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered.
To cancel an order, please contact iMetals Australia on [email protected] to arrange for the goods to be returned subject to our Returns Policy.
Delivery Information? The contents of your order and the weight of your order will determine which delivery services are available to you and, at what charge. For all order (non palletised) <2400mm in length, and with a weight <70kgs we use TNT Standard economy freight. For all palletised; maximum 2400x1200x1500mm, and a weight <500kgs. For all orders for products >2401mm in lengths, the supplier nominates the flat rate delivery charge. iMetals Group reserves the right to charge an additional freight charge where applicable. In circumstances where a delivery to door cannot be made, the nominated frieight company will delivery to the nearest depot for collection only. Delivery will between 7am and 6pm, however, we are unable to confirm a time.
Overseas/export deliveries including some regional/outback/remote areas? Please note for delivery of goods outside mainland metro areas, please contact us for pricing, stating the exact full delivery address.
What happens if I'm out when you deliver? If you are out when we try to deliver, the driver will try a neighbour. If they cannot find a safe place, your parcel will be returned to the depot. They'll leave you a card explaining where your parcel is and what to do next.
How do I return any items I ordered on-line? As long as the item is unused, in the original packaging and returned within seven working days of receipt, you can return it by post/delivery using the address on your 'tax invoice'. You must at all times notify iMetals Group of your intention, please ensure that the goods are sent by registered post or carrier and ensure that the goods must be signed for by the supplier. The POD must then be forwarded to [email protected] See our Refund Policy for full details. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded.
Should you return goods, and you have not sent the goods by registered post or nominated carrier, we will not accept responsibility for items getting lost.
Please note that the return cost are not prepaid. Postage or other return costs will be the customer's responsibility only. You must return the goods, together with their packaging in the same condition as supplied to you.
Time Limitation for Notification of Claims;
- Damage in Transit: If your goods arrive in a damaged condition you must, if dlivered by carrier or recorded delivery, make a note on the carriers delivery consignment note and, it will be your responsibility to inform us by e-mail within seven days from delivery.
- Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carriers delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us by email within seven days from delivery.
- Incorrect Items: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect items within seven days from delivery.
- Non-Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within seven days of the expected delivery date. If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in a saleable order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to the customer.
- Damage/Defective Goods: Items that are deemed damaged or defective can be returned for replacement or credit. Faulty goods can be returned up to forteen days following delivery.
How do I get a refund once I have returned an item? Please allow us at least 2 weeks to process your refund once we've received and confirmed your goods via registered post nominated carrier and POD. The refund will be creditied to the payment card account that it was originally debited from only.
E-mails from iMetals Group? Please note iMetals Group will never send any e-mails to you asking for credit card details or asking you to logon to our website. If you receive any e-mails asking you for this information please delete the e-mails immediately.
Availability of goods? All items are subject to availability and unforeseen demands. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Delays? Occasionally, the manufacture of your goods may be delayed. This can be for various reasons such as shortages, import delays or higher than expected demands. We will of course, make every effort to keep you imformed.
Length of long products? The length supplied will have a cut length tolerance of +/-3.0mm unless agreed.
